Power out for hundreds in Kalihi, Pearl City
According to Hawaii Electric officials, hundreds of customers in Kalihi and Pearl City are without power.
HECO officials say power went out at about 6:30 a.m. for about 600 customers in Kalihi. About an hour later, a power outage was reported in Pearl City with about 700 customer affected.
Officials say wind-related damages may be a factor in the outages, but crews are still assessing the scenes to determine exact causes for the outages.
It is unknown at this time when power will be restored.
