The lights are back on at Kahului Airport on Maui after a transformer fire knocked out power Tuesday afternoon.
The incident happened just after 2 p.m. when the fire broke out near the rental car area.
The Department of Transportation says no flights were affected, but there were some problems with getting power from the airport’s back up generators.
Power was restored at about 2:30 p.m.
