Protesters rally against Black Friday craze

Members of the Occupy Honolulu movement are urging the public to have a "buy nothing Christmas."

About a dozen protesters gathered in front of the Walmart store on Keeaumoku Street Thursday night.
Honolulu police were called on a trespass complaint and told the protestors they had to stay off private property.
The group then went over to Ala Moana Center to hold a similar protest.

"This is greed this is nothing, but greed. It’s Thanksgiving night, you should be with your family not standing in line at midnight at Walmart trying to get a great deal," said a protester.

The group is encouraging people to give family and friends a "gift exemption" card this Christmas.
