An 800-page environmental assessment was recently completed, now the state wants your take on it.
The state says project is aimed at not only upgrading facilities, but also enhancing the safety and efficiency for passengers and employees.
"One of the portions of it is the mauka concourse that will be a nice more modern facility at the airport and will be able to accomodates the large aircrafts that are wanting to come into the island at this time," said Caroline Sluyter, Department of Transportation.
The comment period ends on Nov. 30.
You may submit your written comments by letter to the following address not later than 5:00 p.m. November 30, 2012.
Please allow enough time for mailing. HDOT-A must receive your comments by the deadline, not simply postmarked, by that date.
