Big Island fire crews plan to resume searching Saturday for a missing swimmer.
A 17-year-old boy was swept out to sea from the bay at Shipman Estate’s Beach at about 1:30 p.m. Friday.
He was swimming with two friends.
A helicopter and dive crews were searching all afternoon, but suspended their efforts in the evening due to darkness.
