A 27-year-old Punchbowl man is expected in court today on a kidnapping charge.
Police say Grant Moniz Jr. violated a protective order and allegedly assaulted a 25-year-year-old woman on October 25.
Moniz was arrested Sunday at his home on several counts including two outstanding warrants.
The case was reclassified to kidnapping.
His bail has been set at $125,000.
