Restaurant damage by fire

Golden Duck Restaurant on King Street expected to reopen Friday afternoon, after a morning fire.

Firefighters responded about 7 Friday morning.

Officials say a pot on a stove produced heavy smoke, but there was no damage from flames.

The restaurant may have had some residual impact from the heavy smoke.
