Honolulu Police have arrested a man suspected of robbing a convenience store and fleeing in a taxi cab.
A convenience store located on Nimitz Highway reported being robbed by a male claiming to have a gun, at about 1:55 Tuesday morning.
The suspect fled on foot, but as police searched for the suspect, they received information that he may have gotten into a taxi.
Police conducted a traffic stop on a cab matching the description of the tip, and a male matching the description of the suspect was located within the cab.
The 37 year old male was positively identified by the store clerk and subsequently arrested without incident.
