Sears selling Ala Moana location

Sears Holdings Corporation announced a definitive agreement for the sale of 11 Sears stores to General Growth Properties for $270 million.

This includes the Sears location in Ala Moana Center, which is owned by General Growth Properties.

No other Sears or Kmart locations in Hawaii are on the Sears Holding list as of February 23, 2012.

The deal is expected to close in the next 45 to 60 days subject to customary closing conditions.

The stores are expected to close in 2013.

·                                 Quail Springs Mall — Oklahoma City, Okla.

·                                 West Oaks Mall – Ocoee, Fla.

·                                 The Woodlands Mall — Woodlands, Texas
