Second suspect arrested in connection with Keauhou Store robbery

Big Island police have arrested a second suspect in connection with a robbery at the Keauhou Store on Holualoa earlier this month.

The suspect is identified as 22-year-old James Kekai Hao of Kailua-Kona.

Hao was also arrested in connection with a robbery at the Kaloko Business Center in Kailua-Kona.  

On Thursday afternoon, police located Hao outside an apartment complex on Lunapule Road in Kailua-Kona thanks to tips from the public.

Hao was arrested on suspicion of two counts of first-degree robbery.
