Board of Water Supply crews are working to repair an 8-inch service lateral break on Ala Moana Boulevard.
The break was reported just after 3 a.m. Saturday morning. BWS officials say only Ala Moana Beach Park is without water service.
The break to the service lateral has forced the closure of all eastbound lanes of Ala Moana Boulevard between Piikoi Street and Atkinson Drive.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and to use alternate routes where possible. Motorists may enter Waikiki through Atkinson Drive.
This repair is expected to continue throughout the day.
