Heavy machinery has taken over a portion of Date Street in McCully as the city installs a new sewer line.
The work is scheduled to be completed in December of 2013.
This one of seven sewer projects taking place in September.
Sewer work is also taking place in Waikiki, Waipahu, Kalihi, Saint Louis Heights and Niu Valley.
