The election changed little as far as who will be leading the State Senate this upcoming legislative session.
Maui Senator Shan Tsutsui has once again been elected as senate president.
Donna Mercado Kim will also continue to serve as Senate Vice-President.
David Ige will remain as chairman of the Senate Committee on Ways and Means.
Much of the remaining leadership and committee chairmanships remained unchanged.
The Hawaii State Legislature will convene on January 16.
