Jessica Simpson is confirming pregnancy rumors in a fun, Halloween-themed post online.
Reports suggesting the singer was expecting first surfaced in early September, but the blonde beauty has refused to confirm or deny the story – despite photos that appear to show her with a clear baby belly.
Now the mom-to-be has broken her silence and announced the news on her website on Monday.
Posting a photo of herself dressed up as a mummified figure for Halloween, Simpson cradles her bulging belly, alongside the caption, "It’s true – I’m going to be a mummy!"
Simpson and fiance Eric Johnson became engaged last November and they are expected to wed before the end of 2011.
