A siren near the Ewa Beach Shopping Center malfunctioned Saturday night. City officials say the siren started sounding at about 5 p.m. and went through one three-minute cycle.
Police sent a cancel tone to stop the siren if it were to cycle through again. A city crew will inspect the malfunctioning siren Monday.
