A 6-year-old girl just found out today she and her family are heading to Disneyland thanks to the "Wish Upon a Hero" foundation.
Cadence Cogswell who lives on Schofield Barracks is blind in her right eye. Doctors say she’ll likely be blind in her left eye within a year.
Cadence’s mom asked the foundation to help send their family of five to Disneyland so Cadence can be with her favorite princesses.
Wish granted.
"She’ll have those memories. She’ll be old enough where she’ll be able to look back on when she did have her vision and have these great memories before she can’t see anything anymore," said Andy Cogswell, Cadence’s father.
Cadence has two younger sisters. The whole family will leave for Disneyland tomorrow.
