National sporting goods retailer, Sports Authority, will open its first location on the Windward side later this year.
Sports Authority will move into the space that formerly housed Borders in Windward Mall.
Sports Authority currently has five locations in Hawaii with a new location in Hilo planned for later this summer making the Windward Mall location number seven in the state.
Sports Authority will make announcements regarding hiring and grand opening events in the near future.
