CHICAGO (AP) – Hundreds of Oprah Winfrey fans are lined up outside Chicago’s United Center waiting to get inside for a star-studded double taping of her talk show as it approaches its finale.
Fifty-two-year-old Cathy Deters of Cincinnati says she drove to Chicago without a ticket, but someone outside gave her one.
The energy broker says she doesn’t think anyone could replace Winfrey.
The guest lineup for "Surprise Oprah! A Farewell Spectacular" is a secret, but Winfrey’s producers have promised the biggest names in Hollywood.
Tuesday’s taping will air May 23 and 24, before Winfrey’s final show on May 25.
The United Center has a seating capacity of more than 20,000. It is just blocks from Winfrey’s long-time studios and is expected to be packed for the taping.
