If you watched the UH men’s basketball game Saturday night, you probably saw some interesting fans in the stands, such as Darth Vader.
It was Star Wars night at the Stan Sheriff Center.
Jamie Smith dressed up as Boba Fett and organized it.
He was recently hired by the school to come up with ways to get more fans to come to the UH games, especially the student fans.
More than 350 students showed up for the game, and that’s double the amount that usually comes.
"We wanted to make every game a party .. Just trying to make it fun," said Jamie Smith, UH Athletic Dept. student liaison.
As for the game itself, the Warriors took on Northern Arizona.
