Suspects in motorcycle theft ring expected to be sentenced

Three people who took part in a motorcycle theft ring are expected to be sentenced in court.

Toan Nguyen pled guilty to theft, money laundering, criminal conspiracy and tampering with government records.

Tiffany Nakata and Frances Freitas pleaded no contest to first degree theft, money laundering and tampering with a government record.

They are accused of taking part in an operation which involved 136 stolen motorcycles.

Investigators say the suspects swapped out vin numbers, then re-sold the stolen bikes on Craigslist.
