Tax collection numbers shows revenue grew by 10 percent

The state today released final tax collection numbers for the fiscal year that just ended.

According to the Department of Taxation, general fund revenue grew by 10.9% during the 12-month period that ended June 30.
At the Council on Revenues last meeting in May, the council kept its forecast for tax revenue growth at 12%.
 
The council is scheduled to meet again on August 2.
