Teen seriously injured after his e-bike collides with vehicle

A 15-year-old boy was hospitalized in serious condition when the e-bike he was writing collided with a vehicle at 4:10 p.m. today at Hala Drive and Makuahine Street in Kalihi, Honolulu Emergency Medical Services reported. Paramedics treated him for multiple serious injuries and transported him to an emergency room for further care. He was wearing a helmet.
