"The Simpsons" is now in its 23rd year on television, but could it be its last?

The show’s producer said the Fox cartoon cannot continue under it’s current financial model.

According to a report by "The Daily Beast,"producers are demanding a 45-percent pay cut from the actors who provide voices for Homer, Marge, Bart Simpson and the other characters.

A Fox spokesman hopes an agreement will be reached to allow the show to continue.
