Three Oahu elementary schools were honored on Thursday.
Nuuanu Elementary, Blanche Pope Elementary, and Waikiki elementary were named Hawaii Blue Ribbon Schools for their outstanding student achievements. Each school won $3,000. They will represent the state in the National Blue Ribbon Program.
