Are you wearing your best green outfit? St. Patrick’s Day events kick off Sunday in Waikiki with the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade.
It starts at noon at the intersection of Kalakaua Avenue and Saratoga Road, and finishes at Kapiolani Park. Several bands and floats, as well as hundreds of marchers are expected to participate.
Road closures are expected to take place so motorists are advised to avoid the area.
For the 26th year in a row, Murphy’s Bar & Grill will be hosting the annual St. Patrick’s Day block party. Festivities kick off at noon with food, music, and lots of fun. Portions of Nuuanu Avenue and Merchant Street will be closed to traffic.
