Thomas Chong was found fit to proceed Wednesday and will go to trial in January.
In June, Chong appeared in court to face numerous arson charges.
Some of the arsons in the Tantalus area were caught by a security camera.
Police believe Thomas Chong is a serial arsonist…but his attorney says his constitutional rights are being violated by an extra high bail.
