California humane society officials are looking for the person who duct-taped a turtle to balloons and sent it flying.
Two Oceanside residents found the reptile stuck in a tree.
Firefighters arrived just in time to see it blown out of the tree by a gust of wind.
Fortunately, the turtle wasn’t hurt.
If caught, the culprit could face animal abuse charges.
