Two people are dead after a house fire in Waipahu.
The fire started just before one this morning at a residence on Apowale street. Three people were in the home when the fire broke out.
The building was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived. A woman in her 50ss and a man in his late 70s were killed in the fire.
A man in his 50s was in the yard when emergency crews arrived. Police pulled him to safety. He was not injured but was taken to the hospital for observation.
The home is a total loss and there is no word on the cause.
