Two hikers will have to spend the night in the mountains on Oahu’s north shore.
Fire officials say the hikers were with three other people at Laie Falls Trail when they got lost around 4 p.m. Sunday.
Crews made contact with the lost hikers and a helicopter was called to rescue them, but it turned around once clouds rolled in over the cliffs.
The hikers, a man and a woman in their 30′s are said to be ok.
Rescue crews will continue the rescue at first light Monday.
