The Navy hopes to get half of its ships on biofuels by 2020.

Ray Mabus the Secretary of the Navy stated, "There is no difference in the fuel it simply represents a really big step in our quest to cut us from the tether from foreign oil to take us away from the independence on foreign oil that we have."

The engines don’t notice any difference. The equipment doesn’t know any difference. iI doesn’t change any of the operations or procedures.
