UH Board of Regents discuss contracts of UH president, Jim Donovan

The UH Board of Regents spent much of Wednesday afternoon in executive session discussing contract issues for UH President MRC Greenwood, and former Athletic Director Jim Donovan.

The Board approved the settlement for Jim Donovan that had him removed as AD and given a job in the Chancellor’s office doing marketing.

The Regents say they want to put Donovan’s reassignment and the Stevie Wonder concert fiasco behind them.

The Board met behind closed doors to discuss Greenwood and her employment at the university but came out after less than an hour with no decision on that matter.

Senator Dan Inouye issued a letter re-affirming his support for Greeenwood adding that she is regarded nationally in academia and the research sector.
