UH Manoa’s Gartley Hall to undergo renovations

Gartley Hall on the UH Manoa campus is going to be renovated.

A groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for Monday.

The building will be the future home of the Myron B. Thompson School of Social work., so it will be renovated to meet the program’s standards.

Gartley Hall was built in 1921, and was closed in 2009 because of major structural damage.

It was originally designed as a laboratory facility.
