UH Warriors working for a win after third straight loss

To say the UH football team is struggling this season would be like saying, the weather in Hawaii has been tepid.

Let’s be honest…it’s been sizzling hot lately…the Warriors…not so much.

After a third straight loss…this one a 52-14 decision on the road against San Diego State, Hawaii sits at 1-and-4 for the first time since 2005 and has been outscored in those 4-losses, 217-to-48.

The growing pains under first year head coach Norm Chow are reflected in the stats.

Warriors are ranked 116th among FBS programs in turnover margin….third from the bottom in total offense…and second to last in scoring defense.

The Warriors are hoping to change their fortunes this week, hosting New Mexico on homecoming.

Lobos are 3-and-3, 0-and-1 in the Mountain West.

Kick-off is on Saturday is set for 6 pm at Aloha Stadium.

Special Uniforms

Who knows if Hawaii will look different this week, but they definitely will look different on November 24th against UNLV.

Under Armour released this image of Hawaii’s special "Wounded Warrior Project" uniform which will feature a "stars and stripes" theme.

The Wounded Warrior Project benefits injured service members and their families.

The uniforms will be auctioned following the game, with all the proceeds going to the non-profit organization.
