A roundtrip ticket to Japan could cost you anywhere from $700-$1000. So imagine if a company was offering roundtrip tickets for under $300?
Well that’s what happened, and that’s why tons of people lined up.
H.I.S. Travel Agency’s Kaheka branch was offering $298 roundtrip tickets to Japan on Hawaiian Airlines to the first twenty customers Saturday starting at 10 a.m.
"They made the line yesterday like 1pm," said H.I.S. Travel agent Kazutoshi Ozawa
"We got here at 12 o’clock at night, and we were already at the middle of the line basically," said Honolulu resident Grant Oliver.
The trips were for set times and durations to Osaka only.
And for those who didn’t score the $298 deal there were also other cheap specials, all part of H.I.S Kaheka branch’s 5th anniversary celebration.
