Uncle is charged in beating death of 3-year-old girl

A Hawaii island man has been charged with manslaughter in the death of his 3-year-old niece. Marley Makanani was found unconscious with labored breathing at her Waimea home on Friday and was taken to North Hawaii Community Hospital, where doctors found suspicious bruising on her body.
