UPDATE: 6.9 earthquake damage in Philippines

Rescue crews are working to free dozens of people trapped under collapsed homes in the Philippines.

6.9 magnitude earthquake killed at least 13 people and sent many running from buildings.

Another 40 are believed to be missing.

Most of the damage is in a mountain village in Negros oriental province.

Some of the dead were students at a college and an elementary school.

Others died in a town market that had collapsed, and at least 100 others have been injured.
