UPDATE: At 1:00 p.m. this afternoon, water service was restored to 30 customers affected by a water main break fronting 751 Mokulua Drive. All lanes on Aalapapa Drive and Mokulua Drive remain open. However, motorists are advised to drive with caution and avoid the area as Board of Water Supply (BWS) crews work to repair the roadway. Crews expect to be off the road by 3:00 p.m.

40 customers are without service because of a water main break on Mokolua Drive in Lanikai.
Earlier, traffic was being turned around at the Kailua boat ramp.
Board of Water Supply officials are still urging people to drive with caution through the area or avoid it if possible.
A water wagon has been set up for customers affected by the break in the eight-inch main.
Repair work is expected to last through Wednesday morning.
