In it’s 54 years, the Daytona 500 has never been run on a Monday.
But with more rain Monday morning, there’s a possibility the race won’t begin until Tuesday.
Whatever the case is, officials want to run it Monday.
The race was scheduled to air starting at 8am Hawaii time but NASCAR president Mike Helton says the heavy rain has delayed the race once again until 2pm this afternoon, Hawaii time.
