Friday there is a new leader in charge of the US military in the Asia and Pacific. Admiral Samuel Locklear succeeds Admiral Robert Willard. The Change of Command ceremony was held this morning at US Pacific Command Headquarters. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta attended the ceremony.
Locklear led the NATO operations that helped Libyan rebels overthrow Moammar Gadhafi.
