Vegas Advisor: Plans for 2 Strip hotels, 1 underway, scrapped

Two major Las Vegas projects have been taken off the board. What was to be Dream Hotel-Casino on the far south end of the Strip has been put up for sale. Work had begun on Dream, with more than $120 million reportedly invested in early construction, which means the project has a reasonable chance of being taken over and completed by another brand. Less surprising is the announcement that a planned Atari Hotel will not materialize. First floated in 2020, Atari was to be a noncasino hotel, though a location was never finalized.
