Hawaii will likely see more visitors from Taiwan.
That’s because a visa requirement for Taiwanese citizens has been eliminated.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security on Tuesday said it’s adding Taiwan to a list of countries whose nationals may travel to the U.S. for tourism or business without a visa for 90 days.
Hawaii welcomed about 20,000 Taiwanese last year.
