The Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center celebrated a milestone on Friday – 40 years of service.
To celebrate there was a traditional Hawaiian blessing, dedication of a new heritage trail, and a health fair.
The center opened in 1972, and serves about 29,000 people every year.
It provides 24-hour emergency room, general and family practice, and traditional native Hawaiian healing.
