A 24-year-old man has been arrested in connection with two separate thefts at Waianae businesses.
Police say an investigation led them to the man who stole a cash register from the Golden House Restaurant on January 22nd, and also stole a flat-screen TV from the Radio Shack at the Waianae Mall on Wednesday.
Members of HPD’s crime reduction union tracked him to an apartment on Hana Street, where they say he resisted arrest and struck an officer.
The officer was injured and taken to the hospital where he was treated and released. The suspect was arrested for robbery, theft, and resisting arrest.
