Heavy showers on Kauai didn’t keep away more than 200 people from a fun-filled family day at Kukui Grove Center in Lihue.
They gathered for Kauai Family Magazine’s inaugural cover keiki search.
There were plenty of adorable keiki from one to 11 — hoping to appear on an upcoming issue.
The five judges scored the contestants on appearance, charisma and "star power."
The grand prize winner was 10-year-old Sydney Agudong of Wailua.
The magazine which debuted last fall is a free quarterly publication.
