Due to two down power lines crossing the haul road, no trucks are able to access the landfill.
HECO is on scene assessing the situation.
The city says the director is heading out to the landfill to check on it.
The lines are blocking the receiving waste cell live wire.
H-power is also down for scheduled maintenance.
Refuse will pick-up grey bins for now and take them to transfer stations.
