A group of talented athletes was honored by the Honolulu city council this week.
Youth boxers from Waimanalo were recognized for their championship performances at championship tournaments in California and Nevada.
Stanford Aquino III, Ashley Pereira and Kalama Keeno all brought home title belts.
Their head coach is Blane Yoshida.
