Waipahu students fold 2,000 cranes for Japan

Take a look at what students at Kanoelani Elementary School in Waipahu have done.

They made more than 1,500 cards and 2,000 cranes for the people of Japan.

They also made a video addressed to students in Fukushima, Miyagi, and Iwate prefectures, hoping it will put a smile on their faces and let them know they’re loved.

According to their teacher Etsuko Gormley, the students also collected $1,1136.38 in donations.
