"Warrior Challenge" among events during Pacific Army Week

Sunday marks the start of Pacific Army Week.
It’s a celebration to honor the 237th birthday of the United States Army.
"Warrior Challenge" is just one of the events being held to mark the occasion.
Seventeen of the top soldiers from Hawaii, Alaska and even Korea will compete in a number of physical and mental tasks.

"They send their best here and throughout the next four days they go through these several events and it’s crowned on Friday who the best is," says Col. Mike Donnelly of the U.S. Army Pacific. "This is our time to celebrate our heritage, history and tradition."

The events wrap up on Saturday with a polo match and a birthday celebration at Fort Shafter.
