Around 4:40 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, an 8 inch main broke on Palekaiko Street in Pearl City.
Twenty-four homes are affected and do not have water.
Water wagons are on scene.
Board of Water Supply officials say crews will be fixing the main through the evening.
