Discoverer’s Day in Hawaii, also known as Columbus Day in other parts of the country, is on Monday.
It’s a federal holiday, so federal offices will be closed.
That includes the post office, that means no regular mail delivery.
Most banks and other financial institutions will also be closed.
State and county offices will be open.
